England beat Australia 1-0 at Wembley on Friday night after Ollie Watkins was on hand to net the game’s only goal.

Earlier in the game, Maddison blazed a shot miles high and wide.

And after the game, the Spurs midfielder posted his failed attempt of trying to score into a comical short clip on social media and captioned it “Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe๐Ÿ’ฉ.”

The TikTok shows Maddison’s slip-up of booting the ball up in the air.

The ball then rockets high out of the planet, and returns to Earth — only to smack Sideman Harry Lewis’s mum in the face.

Fans had mixed reactions to the Spurs star’s bizarre video.

One said said: “I can’t believe James Maddison actually posted this ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€.”

Another put: “How big does the goal need to be to score James Maddison.”

A fourth then said: “NOT HARRYS MOM๐Ÿ˜ญ.”

The midfielder made up for the misery he caused earlier in the game by creating a great chance for Watkins – which unfortunately saw him hit the post.

Maddison has been in blistering form for Spurs this season, being named August’s Premier League Player of the Month.

He joined Spurs on a ยฃ40million deal this summer from the relegated Leicester City.

And under Ange Postecoglou he has scored two goals and made five assists from nine games in North London.
