Erik ten Hag previously suggested Sancho had experienced a “drop of level” both physically and mentally.

And while he remains on the sidelines as he ramps up his preparation to return to the team, Sancho has now been pictured back at Old Trafford for the Manchester derby.

The 22-year-old was pictured taking selfies with fans as he wrapped up warm in the cold weather.

And fans were glad to see him back.

After a bright start to the season, Sancho’s form quickly faded, with his last game coming on October 22 in the draw against Chelsea.

Sancho was even excluded from the squad’s warm weather training camp for those who did not participate in the World Cup.

Instead, the winger travelled to the Netherlands to undergo specialist training to help with his fitness and mental wellbeing.

Sancho was recently pictured turning up to United training at the start of the year.

On a possible return date, Ten Hag previously said: “The time is not now but he is making progress.

“We will see when he is ready to return into the squad. He’s back in Manchester, he will start individual training.”
