EMMANUEL FRIMPONG has claimed he was not paid for collaborating with internet sensation KSI.
The ex-Arsenal midfielder starred in a number of videos on KSI’s YouTube channel in the early 2010s.
The videos saw them face off with each other in a number of videos on the FIFA video game series – re-branded this year to EA Sports FC.
Speaking to BettingSites.co.uk about the link-up, Frimpong said: ” I did make videos with KSI around 12 years ago, when he was coming up in the YouTube scene, and now he’s done very well for himself.
“We don’t talk because we’re not close friends but follow each other on social media because we have previously worked together.
“If I did message him, I think he would be humble enough to message me back, but we have nothing to talk about!

“I congratulate him and wish him even more success because what he’s done and where he has come from is amazing.”
YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI has amassed a huge following online, with more than 40million fans across his YouTube channels and nearly 34m on other major social media.
His popularity has also helped him obtain a sizeable fortune, with the 30-year-old estimated to be worth a whopping £20m.
However, Frimpong, 31, has revealed he was not paid for his appearances in some of the vids, despite them being watched by millions of people.

He added: “KSI didn’t pay me for the last couple of FIFA videos I did with him years ago, so I might have to give him a message and ask for it now!
“I always looked to work with people who were talented like KSI, but I don’t think we can have another round of FIFA because he’s moved on from that type of content.”
Frimpong made 16 appearances for Arsenal after emerging from the club’s academy.
He would go on to leave in 2014 following loan transfers to Charlton, Fulham and Barnsley, before retiring in 2018 due to a persistent knee injury.
KSI, despite building his name from gaming in his bedroom as a teen, is now just as well known for his exploits into music, films, influencer boxing and business ventures such as PRIME Hydration.
KSI is lined up to fight Love Island star Tommy Fury on October 14.
But before that he is due to star in the Sidemen Charity Match on Saturday.
Last year saw a 15-goal thriller at Charlton’s The Valley which raised an incredible £1m for charities.
And this year they are hoping to top that, upgrading their venue to West Ham’s London Stadium which sold out it’s 62,000 allocation.
