An incredible second-half collapse from the Red Devils saw them concede six goals in 38 minutes.

Cody Gakpo, Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah all helped themselves to braces before Roberto Firmino added a seventh.

Fans were left in disbelief afterwards at the huge scoreline, and Arsenal legend Parlour was among them.

And he took to Twitter to tongue-in-cheekily announce he was heading to the casino with one lucky number on his mind afterwards.

The 49-year-old, who won the Premier League three times with the Gunners, tweeted: “Liverpool 7 Man U 0 don’t sound right how many beers have I had. Going casino 7 all  the way.”

Meanwhile, United manager Ten Hag brought out the hairdryer following his side’s disastrous defeat at Anfield.

SunSport has learned the Dutchman was “the angriest he’s ever been” following the humiliation at arch-rivals Liverpool.

No player was spared in a dressing down which lasted several minutes.

An insider told Sun Sport: “Ten Hag was livid. After the game he was straight down the tunnel, and as soon as the players got into the changing room he ripped into them.

“It was the full hairdryer treatment. He explained he can accept defeat but that the way they’d performed was unprofessional.

“No one individual was singled out. But Ten Hag said everyone, himself included, now needed to learn from it and do a lot better.”
