MAN UTD’S 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Wednesday evening was their 12th home victory in a row in all competitions.
It is a run that has seen Erik ten Hag’s men move into the top four in the Premier League table, reach the fifth round of the FA Cup and the final of the Carabao Cup.
But more than that, it is a feat that the Red Devils have not achieved since Sir Alex Ferguson was in charge more than a decade ago.
The last time Man Utd won 12 or more home matches on the spin during a single season was a run of form from December 2010 to May 2011.
Ferguson’s side put together a tremendous streak of 17 WINS at Old Trafford as they reclaimed the Premier League title and reached the final of the Champions League.
It carried on into the following campaign as they won three more home games in the 2011/12 season, before a 3-3 draw with Basel ended the sequence.

SunSport has taken a look at United’s team the last time they reached 12 home wins in a row – which came in a 2-0 win over Fulham.
Certain members of the side may have been forgotten by some football fans.
In goal was former Polish keeper Tomasz Kuszczak – as No1 Edwin van der Sar was unavailable.
The back four consisted of John O’Shea, Chris Smalling, Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra.

Remarkably, Smalling is still playing at the top level 12 years on for Roma.
Ferguson’s midfield trio was comprised of legend Paul Scholes, Brazilian Anderson and Irishman Darron Gibson – who would go on to feature for Everton, Sunderland and Wigan.
And up front Dimitar Berbatov led the line, flanked by wingers Antonio Valencia and Nani.
Both Berbatov and Valencia got on the scoresheet in the first half as United went into the break with a 2-0 lead.

They then saw out the rest of the game to move ten points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
United went unbeaten at home between April 2010 and October 2011, before the run came to an end in spectacular fashion as they were thrashed 6-1 by rivals Man City.
Meanwhile, Ten Hag will be hoping United can maintain their superb record at Old Trafford when they host Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Their home games after the weekend then come against Leeds, Leicester and Barcelona.
