HARRY REDKNAPP joked that he still hangs out of his car on deadline day because he has “withdrawal”.
The ex-Tottenham and Portsmouth boss was renowned for giving interviews from behind the wheel during his managerial days, often on the final day of a transfer window.
And Redknapp rolled back the years when he joined TalkTV earlier today.
That’s because despite being out of a job for more than six years, the 75-year-old joined Jeremy Kyle on his show… while sitting in his car.
Redknapp was asked why and he joked: “It’s withdrawal
“I come out here just out of habit and sit in the car all night to 11 o’clock hanging out the window… it’s something I’ve [always done].

“Sandra wanted me out. I’ve tried to transfer her in fact but I’ve had no takers at the moment.
“Even Barney the dog, I’m trying to put him on the market but nothing happening there so I’m just sitting here waiting for the phone to ring, really.”
Redknapp was known for finding a bargain as the clocked ticked towards to the deadline and said that Rafael van der Vaart’s move from Real Madrid to Tottenham in 2010 was probably his best piece of deadline day business.
But with market very different to when he was a manager, when asked whether the market is out of control, Redknapp said: “Absolutely.

“And it all seems to be going abroad, all to foreign clubs in different countries.”
And Redknapp claimed that fees clubs are now paying could be put to better use.
He added: “It is sad when you think, the hospitals you could buy and paint and build, it has gone absolutely barmy.
“If your club buys a player now for £15 or £20 million, you think he can’t be much good, he’s cheap.
“Unless you’re spending 50, 60 or whatever, you feel well whatever, he’s not really a big signing for us. It’s gone out of all proportion.£
