TOTTENHAM star Cristian Romero scored and was then forced off immediately with injury.
The Argentine got Ange Postecoglou’s reign off to a perfect start as he put Spurs ahead after just 11 minutes.
Romero attacked a James Maddison free-kick and headed home, with the goal standing despite a VAR check for offside.
However, the centre-back went from hero to zero as he was subbed off straight after celebrating due to injury.
Romero was involved in a clash of heads as he scored, with Tottenham deciding to take him off as a precaution.
The 25-year-old was left fuming and did not want to continue playing.
