CHELSEA supporters have advised Levi Colwill to delete a social media photo he posted in the aftermath of the club’s defeat at Manchester United.
The Blues were thumped 4-1 at Old Trafford on Thursday as it was confirmed they have suffered their worst season in almost two decades.
That was an eighth defeat in 10 for interim manager Frank Lampard and means they will finish in the bottom half of the table despite spending £600m across two transfer windows.
Four different men have occupied the Stamford Bridge hot seat during Todd Boehly’s debut season as co-owner, which will end with Chelsea earning their lowest Premier League points total in modern history.
That has led to the club taking the decision to bin their in-person awards evening.
However, two of Chelsea’s academy starlets are celebrating after a successful loan spell at Brighton.

Colwill, 20, joined the Seagulls on loan at the beginning of the season and has thrived under Roberto De Zerbi.
He has made 23 appearances in all competitions and is allegedly a player identified by Mauricio Pochettino as someone he wants to build his future Chelsea team around.
The centre-back and midfielder Billy Gilmour, also on loan at Brighton from the Blues, both played as the South Coast side confirmed Europa League football next term with a 1-1 draw against Manchester City on Wednesday.
A fan tweeted Colwill last night as his parent club were being thrashed at United asking: “How’s your evening going?”

The ace replied with a picture of himself and Gilmour, 21, all smiles and the word: “Brilliant!!!!!”
But while some Chelsea supporters begged him to return and “save them”, others advised him that he may want to take down the post amid the Blues’ latest dismal setback.
One wrote: “Delete this.”
Another said: “Nah that’s a violation.”
As another commented: “This is the same feeling as when your crush tells you “you’re just like a brother to me.”
It comes after Colwill forgot he was still a Blues player after helping Brighton clinch Europa League football.
The ace, who has been linked with a move to Manchester City or Liverpool, had to be reminded he would be returning to the Blues when speaking to The Athletic.
“I forgot for a minute,” he said after remembering he was heading back to Chelsea in the coming months.
And he could not speak more glowingly about the set-up at the Amex.
Colwill, who is under contract until 2025, added: “Amazing. When Roberto came in [last September], he just changed things.
“His mentality as a manager is world class and he is definitely going to be one of the best managers in the world — if he’s not already.

“That’s what you need at a club like this, that’s what you need to take us to the next level. I never realised how good the players are and he’s come in and playing the style — oh, it’s amazing.
“It fits everyone in the changing room. That’s why they are all playing outrageous football.”
