Fulham sign Adama Traore on free transfer with fans left in hysterics over announcement post

FULHAM have signed Adama Traore on a free transfer – but fans were more interested in the hilarious announcement for it.

The former Wolves ace, 27, has agreed a two-year contract with the Cottagers, with the option of another 12 months.

And to celebrate signing the speedy winger, Fulham simply uploaded a photo of a bottle of Johnson’s Baby Oil.

This is a sensational reference to the fact that the Spaniard uses oil on his bulging muscular arms to stop defenders tugging him down.

And unsurprisingly, Fulham fans loved the snap.

There were a whole host of laughing with tears emojis while “brilliant”, “classic” and “perfect announcement”.

Speaking to Fulham TV after signing, Traore said: “It’s a nice opportunity for me.

“Another chapter. I like the Club, I also have information from Raul [Jimenez], who seems to love the club.

“I’m excited and hungry to give 100 per cent here.”

Traore started his career at Barcelona, but only made one appearance for the senior team before being sold to Aston Villa for £7m.

Furhter spells with Middlesbrough and then Wolves followed before Traore finds his feet in West London with Marco Silva’s side.

Cottagers chairman added Tony Khan added: “I’m thrilled to welcome Adama Traore to Fulham Football Club.

“He’s an explosive and powerful winger with great pace, and he has tremendous experience in the Premier League.

“He’s a player with whom we are very familiar, and he’s been on the opposing side of our team on numerous occasions; I believe that he’ll be a great addition to Marco’s squad.

“I’m excited that Adama has joined us on a two-year deal with an option. Come on Fulham!”
