FULHAM are pushing to sign Rennes captain Hamari Traore, according to reports.
The Whites are going great on their Prem return, but Marco Silva wants to add to his squad before the window shuts.
And the Fulham boss is hoping to strengthen in “two or three positions” despite already being content with his squad.
One of those areas looks to be at right-back.
And French outlet Foot Mercato claim the Craven Cottage club are interested in the services of Traore.
The 30-year-old has been a regular for Rennes since arriving in 2017 and started all-but one Ligue 1 match this season.

But his contract expires in the summer and he isn’t set to sign an extension.
He’ll therefore be available on a free transfer in July, but the report claims that Fulham want to beat the rush and sign him this month.
Roma are also in the race, but Fulham have launched a bid of around £3m.
Despite their success under Silva this term, right-back has been an issue for the Cottagers since their promotion.

Kenny Tete is first-choice, but the Dutchman has struggled with injuries.
As a result, forward Bobby Decordova-Reid has been forced to drop back and cover with Silva not keen on Kevin Mbabu, who’s started two Prem games since arriving from Wolfsburg.
Regardless, Fulham have still exceeded expectations under the ex-Everton manager’s guidance.
And victory over Chelsea tonight will see them move six points clear of their West London neighbours and up to sixth place.
