GRAHAM POTTER has held showdown talks with Chelsea’s “frustrated” owners ahead of his side’s crunch derby against Tottenham.
The beleaguered Blues boss is coming under increasing pressure after winning just two of his last 14 Premier League matches.
Potter and his expensive signings were jeered by the Stamford Bridge crowd after last weekend’s defeat to bottom feeders Southampton.
And fans are expecting an immediate return to form when Chelsea travel to rivals Spurs in a must-win fixture on Sunday.
Todd Boehly and his fellow investors splashed over £320million on new signings in January, taking their total spending well clear of £600m.
Although they are understood to be backing Potter during a difficult transition period, they do want to see more bang for their buck.

And Sunday’s game against Tottenham is seen as the perfect opportunity to turn things around before a Champions League comeback against Borussia Dortmund.
Potter, who has a fully-fit squad bar N’Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic, admits things have not been good enough under his watch.
And Chelsea’s owners held crunch talks with him this week to figure out their next steps.
But Potter insists he retains the full support of Boehly and others, despite everyone being “frustrated” with the situation.

Potter declared: “I’ve spoken to them. It’s the same as always. There’s always been support.
“I’ve been under pressure for four months. [Their support] continues. They’ve been great.
“They see where we’re at, but are frustrated because we have to do better.”
Reflecting on the upcoming Spurs match, Potter added: “[We need] a strong performance. We need three points.
“It’s a game we are looking forward to. Training and the response [to Southampton loss] has been really good.”
