FORMER Tottenham starlet Kyle Naughton has today woken up without a club after being released by Swansea City.
The veteran full-back made 26 appearances for the Swans this season, having played for the South Wales club since 2015.
Head coach Russell Martin, who is the favourite to take over the vacant Southampton job, spoke to confirm that Naughton, Ryan Madding and Joel LatibeaudiereĀ would all leave at the end of the season.
He said: “I’d love to keep all three, but we’re not at that point at the moment.
“I’ll be really sad to lose one of them, let alone all of them.”
Naughton made 285 appearances for Swansea after joining them from Spurs in 2015.

He joined Tottenham from Sheffield United in a double deal alongside fellow right-back Kyle Walker.
Many at the time believed Naughton would go on to have the superior career of the two, given he was already a Sheffield United regular when he made the move.
But it was Walker that would go on to become Spurs’ first choice before he moved on to Manchester City in 2017.
It is not yet known which club Naughton will join.
