SALOMON RONDON is in talks to rip up his contract at River Plate just months after joining the 11th team of his career.
The former Everton striker was in contract with the Argentine side until December 2025.
Rondon joined River Plate in January after Frank Lampard fizzled him out of the Toffees squad.
Since his arrival in Argentina, he managed to secure eight goals across 27 appearances.
The 34-year-old only secured three goals and one assist in his 31 appearances for the Toffees.
But according to reporter Cesar Luis Merlo Rondon wants to cut his contract short at River due to an issue involving his family.
