FORMER Real Madrid star Isco has ended his stint as a free agent in controversial fashion after signing for Real Betis.
The Spaniard, 31, left the Bernabeu last summer following nine years with Los Blancos.
He signed for LaLiga side Sevilla but saw his contract ripped up four months later, featuring just 19 times.
Isco also claimed he had a physical altercation with then-sporting director Monchi – who now works for Aston Villa.
The forward saw a transfer to Union Berlin collapse during the January window.
And he has been a free agent ever since.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini, who previously coached Manchester City, is keen to bring him in.
The controversial aspect of the deal comes from the fact that Betis are Sevilla’s bitter rivals.
However, given how things ended with Sevilla, it is unsurprising Isco does not feel any loyalty towards the club.
