DANI CARVAJAL was labelled an “absolute disgrace” for his play acting after he shoved Jack Grealish into the pitchside hoardings.
The two stars were in action as Kevin De Bruyne’s stunner earned the Manchester City a brilliant 1-1 draw at the Bernabeu in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.
But it was Real Madrid star Carvajal’s 90-minute battle with Grealish that provided an interesting sub-plot in the Spanish capital.
Vinicius Jr had broken the deadlock an incredible strike from outside of the area in the 36th minute.
And it was just after the Brazilian’s opener that tensions threatened to boil over just before the break.
City star Kevin de Bruyne curled a ball into the box but put too much on it.

Grealish tried his best to get on the end of it but he was unable to stop it from going out of play.
However, despite the danger being averted, Madrid full-back Carvajal still decided to give him a big shove in the back to send the England attacker into the advertising boards.
The obviously fuming Grealish was furious after he went crashing into the hard electronic board and the grounded ace flung his arm out in frustration and made slight contact with the Spaniard.
Carvajal instantly flung himself down to the floor holding his head and claiming he had been pushed back, leading to a long delay.

Eventually, his own team-mate David Alaba came over and dragged his colleague to his feet as the referee decided to take no action against either player.
But City supporters were absolutely raging at the antics of the 31-year-old defender.
One tweeted: “Carvajal slams Jack Grealish into the boards like it’s Wrestlemania and then complains when Jack throws a hand is way and falls to the ground what an absolute weirdo.”
Another wrote: “That play acting is an absolute disgrace.”
A fellow viewer tweeted: “Just an absolute cheat #Carvajal.”
As another labelled him “scum” for his attempt to get Grealish into trouble.
Carvajal and Grealish will now renew their rivalry in the second leg at the Etihad next Wednesday.
