Eden Hazard’s Real Madrid shirt already replaced after ex-Chelsea star’s shock exit

REAL MADRID have given Eden Hazard’s number seven shirt to superstar Vinicius Junior.

The Belgian’s dismal spell at the Bernabeu has come to an end after the LaLiga giants tore up his contract.

There were big expectations of Hazard after his arrival, having joined for £130million.

But injuries have turned his spell at Real into a nightmare and he was never able to nail down a regular spot in the team.

He is now believed to be considering retiring from football aged just 32.

The winger made 76 appearances in four years at the club, scoring just seven goals.

Meanwhile Vinicius Jr has made the most of Hazard’s absence by announcing himself as one of the best players in the world.

The Brazilian is now the second most valuable player in football with a price tag of £169million.

His team-mate Rodrygo has also received a new number – 11.

The number is available as previous incumbent Marco Asensio is set to leave on a free transfer and possibly sign for PSG.

Arsenal and Manchester United were reported to be interested in the winger.

Aston Villa also made a late-ditch attempt to sign Asensio with Unai Emery trying to convince his compatriot to join.
