DELE ALLI has vowed to return “stronger than ever” after revealing an injury setback.
The Everton midfielder is yet to play this season as he recovers from groin surgery.
Alli had been back in training before a stitch broke open during a session back in July.
However, the former England international has promised his fans he will make up for lost time once he is back in action.
In an Instagram post, Alli wrote: “Setback with the injury, but making sure I come back stronger than ever.”
The 27-year-old shared a series of snaps as he worked out in a home gym.

Alli’s followers were quick to react to his post, with one commenting: “Let him cook!”
Another added: “You got this Dele.”
A third follower also wrote: “The league isn’t ready.”

Meanwhile, one more said: “Greatest comeback loading.”
Alli’s return would provide a potential boost to Everton’s fortunes on the pitch.
Manager Sean Dyche has claimed the club are hoping to renegotiate the terms of his transfer from Tottenham before he plays, though.
The Toffees will owe Spurs £10million once Alli makes 20 appearances for the club, per the terms of his 2022 transfer.
However, the potential takeover of Everton means that money is currently tight at Goodison Park.
Since his arrival, Alli has played 13 times for Everton, with his last appearance coming in August 2022.
The ex-MK Dons starlet spent last season on loan at Besiktas, scoring three goals in 15 appearances.
