DARWIN NUNEZ went from trolled to gold in just seconds – with a Liverpool winner that fans reckon only he could score.
Bournemouth supporters taunted the away sub’s terrible first touch – but he cut back inside to swerve a Carabao Cup cracker.
Justin Kluivert ‘s first-ever goal for the Cherries had cancelled out Cody Gakpo’s opener.
But Nunez came on for the final half-hour to show how he can thrill and frustrate by firing what one viewer called “a typical Darwizzy goal lol”.
Another raved: “Only Nunez can produce a touch that bad and then score a worldie.”
Drifting onto a long pass on 70 minutes, the striker fluffed a touch on his left foot, meaning he had to race towards the touchline to retrieve the ball.
