ENGLAND star Tyrick Mitchell could reportedly switch his international allegiance despite playing twice for the Three Lions.
The Crystal Palace defender featured in friendlies against Switzerland and Cote d’Ivoire.
But he was last called up by Gareth Southgate in March 2022 and could decide to turn his back on England.
That’s because he has been offered the chance to play for Jamaica, according to the Daily Mail.
Mitchell, 24, is believed to be considering the switch, which he is free to do as he has only appeared for the Three Lions in friendlies.
Jamaica have lured the likes of Michail Antonio, Ethan Pinnock and Demarai Gray to their ranks in recent years – the trio were all born in England.

Mitchell was left out of Southgate’s England squad to face Australia and Italy, which was announced on Thursday.
It is a blow for the Palace star as no natural left-back made the cut with Ben Chilwell and Luke Shaw injured.
That means Southgate will likely opt for Kieran Trippier to play out of position rather than call on Mitchell.
Chelsea star Levi Colwill is another option with the youngster featuring at left-back under Mauricio Pochettino this season, though his natural position is in central defence.
