CHELSEA will begin their preparations for the 2023/24 Premier League season by taking on Wrexham in a pre-season friendly.
It will be the first time new boss Mauricio Pochettino will be in the Blues dugout.
The two historic clubs last met in the old Divison Two back in 1982, with the Red Dragons winning 1-0.
In more recent times, last season Hollywood-owned Wrexham claimed promotion back to the Football League after a 15-year absence.
The Red Dragons will be mixing it with the big boys during their pre-season tour of the USA as they take on Manchester United as well as Chelsea.
When is Chelsea vs Wrexham?
- Chelsea vs Wrexham will take place on Wednesday, July 19.
- Kick-off in the UK will be on Thursday, July 20, at 12.30 BST.
- The Kenan Stadium in North Carolina will play host.

New signing Christopher Nkunku is currently enjoying an extended break alongside Levi Colwill, Noni Madueke, Mykhaylo Mudryk and Gabriel Slonina.
