CHELSEA fans bemoaned their team’s indiscipline after substitute keeper Marcus Bettinelli was booked without coming on during the Blues’ loss to Wolves.
Mauricio Pochettino’s suffered an eighth Premier League defeat of the season on Sunday afternoon as they were beaten 2-1 at Molineux.
And frustrations arose in the final moments of the game as reserve shot-stopper Bettinelli, 31, was cautioned by referee David Coote for dissent.
Chelsea supporters then took to social media to vent their anger at the incident on yet another disappointing day for the West London club.
One said: “Even Bettinelli on the bench has collected a yellow card. The indiscipline in this team is outrageous.”
Another added: “Marcus Bettinelli has more yellow cards than appearances this season 😭.”

A third replied: “How did Marcus Bettinelli get a yellow card? 🙄 We have a serious discipline problem. These players need a manager who will whip their a**es.”
While a fourth responded: “Bettinelli getting booked. We’re actually beyond finished 😭.”
And a fifth said: “Bettinelli got booked as well 😭😭😭. What happened to our discipline?”
Bettinelli joined Chelsea from Fulham in 2021 but has played just one game for the Blues – which came in the FA Cup last season.

First-choice keeper Robert Sanchez is currently sidelined, but Bettinelli is still not getting a look in as Serbian Dorde Petrovic is deputising for the Spaniard.
Chelsea are languishing in 10th place in the Premier League at Christmas.
Pochettino’s men are 14 points adrift of the top four and have lost three of their last four league games.
However, they are into the Carabao Cup semi-finals after beating Newcastle in midweek.
Chelsea will face Championship side Middlesbrough in the last four as they bid to book a spot at Wembley against Liverpool or Fulham.
