Chelsea fans rage as Amartey doesn’t even get BOOKED after kicking Havertz in chest and leaving him with nasty scratches


CHELSEA fans were left furious when Daniel Amartey was allowed to get away with kicking Kai Havertz in the chest.

The Blues travelled to Leicester today looking to build on two successive wins at Stamford Bridge.

Graham Potter’s side got off to the perfect start, going 1-0 ahead via former Fox Ben Chilwell after just 11 minutes.

Patson Daka levelled for the hosts on 39 minutes, before a moment of controversy in first-half stoppage time.

Amartey caught Havertz in the chest with his studs, leaving the German crumpled in a heap.

The forward’s team-mates were furious with the tackle, with Enzo Fernandez motioning that Amartey had gone in high with his studs up.

Staggeringly, the Ghanaian wasn’t even booked for the challenge, despite Havertz eventually showing off nasty scratch marks down his chest.

The Blues would have the last laugh, however, with Havertz scoring a a sumptuous goals just moments later.

In the sixth minute of first-half stoppage time, Fernandez scooped a delicate chip over the Leicester defence.

Havertz ran onto it, sublimely dinking the ball over Foxes keeper Danny Ward.

The Blues made the points safe late on, when Mateo Kovacic netted 12 minutes from time – with Amartey having been hooked in the 66th minute.

It got worse for Brendan Rodgers’ side late on, when Wout Faes was shown his second yellow card and dismissed with just three minutes remaining.

Chelsea remain tenth despite their 3-1 win, but are now just a point behind ninth-placed Brentford.
