The 49-year-old splashed over £300m for the third straight window in the summer.

And Boehly is also looking to make a number of improvements off the pitch as his plans to redevelop the club’s Stamford Bridge home continue.

New sponsors Infinite Athlete have commended Boehly’s vision and previous success in taken over professional clubs.

Infinite Athlete boss Charlie Ebersol said: “Take when Todd bought the Los Angeles Dodgers in professional baseball in 2012.

“The Dodgers had atrophied to the point of not being able to do anything.

“Now they’re perennial playoff contenders. They’re constantly in the conversation for the World Series.

“He’s not looking at three, six, nine-month increments at Chelsea, he’s looking at decades of ownership.

“I’ve always appreciated that about him.”

And the comments seem to be a huge hit with the Chelsea fanbase.

One supporter wrote: “Todd knows what he is doing and we just need to have faith in him.”

A second added: “If you study their plan, it is purely a long term ownership to transform the club.”

While a third said: “I trust the process.”

Chelsea’s deal with the sports tech company is believed to be worth around £40million.

The company is an AI statistics provider and it works with broadcasters and streaming services with live information on player statistics.

Boehly also wants to add two giant lion sculptures, as displayed on Chelsea’s badge, outside of the ground that will cost around £2m.
