The Gunners raced into a three-goal lead thanks to a brace from Martin Odegaard and a single goal strike from Gabriel Jesus.

However, it could have been even worse for Frank Lampard’s team if it were not for Silva.

The Brazilian defender was able to pull off a brilliant goal-line clearance to deny Gabriel Magalhães from making it four.

The Arsenal star headed goalwards but the ball was stopped on the line as Silva calmly used his knee to control it and then hoof it away.
