GRAHAM POTTER celebrated his first league win in three matches as Kai Havertz header separated Chelsea and Crystal Palace.
The under-pressure boss could breathe a sigh of relief as the German’s opener was enough t secure three points.
Chelsea’s latest signing, £97million man Mykhailo Mudryk, was in attendance as Stamford Bridge to watch the win.
The Blues remain in tenth place, eight points adrift of Newcastle in fourth.
Havertz said: “The last few weeks were tough. For everyone at the club, it is not easy under these circumstances.
“A lot of things changed this year. We have so many injuries, 10-12 injured players.
