Union were desperate for a result as they are on the cusp of missing out on European football after the new year.

The Bundesliga side are bottom of Group C, and while they can not qualify for the Last 16, they could still make it to the Europa League with a third-placed finish.

Tousart, 26, appeared to be willing to do anything to help his team as he took a tumble in the Braga penalty area without any contact.

No penalty was given as the match finished 1-1 and referee Clement Turpin showed Tousart a yellow card for simulation.
