CELTIC supremo Dermot Desmond has flown into Glasgow as a sensational return to the Hoops for Brendan Rodgers gathers pace.
The Parkhead club’s principal shareholder jetted-in on his private jet this morning as reports of face-to-face talks intensify.
SunSport’s snapped these exclusive pictures of Desmond’s arrival into Glasgow Airport.
We revealed last night how Desmond was readying a bumper offer to try and bring Rodgers back to Celtic Park as manager.
The Celts supremo has made Rodgers, 50, his number one choice to succeed Ange Postecoglou, who left for Tottenham.
Rodgers – sacked by Leicester in April – had planned to take a sabbatical from football.
However, he is now considering a stunning return to Celtic for a second spell as boss.
It would be a remarkable comeback to Parkhead for Rodgers who left in highly controversial circumstances in February 2019.
Hoops fans were left furious after he walked out mid-season to take over at Leicester.
Rodgers has been assured, however, that the majority of Celtic supporters will welcome him back.

He’ll also be offered a Premier League salary and would have plenty of transfer funds to add to his squad.
Rodgers held preliminary talks over the weekend with chief executive Michael Nicholson and there have been reports face-to-face talks between the Northern Irish boss and Desmond are imminent.
Desmond is rarely seen in Glasgow or Scotland these days.
He recently made a trip where he was spotted with now-former boss Postecoglou.
A keen golfer, Desmond also flies in to play and take-in some of the top events held in the nation.
