Ben White’s brutal reaction to Mo Salah penalty miss caught on camera and Arsenal fans love it

BEN WHITE was spotted laughing at Mo Salah following his penalty miss at Anfield on Sunday.

The Liverpool forward, 30, had already scored in the first half to bring the hosts back into the game after Arsenal had raced into a 2-0 lead with just 28 minutes on the clock.

And Jurgen Klopp’s men were given a huge opportunity to draw level nine minutes into the second half when Diogo Jota was fouled by Rob Holding and referee Paul Tierney pointed to the spot.

Salah took responsibility as he stepped up to try and avenge his penalty miss against Bournemouth last month.

But he failed to hit the target yet again as he rolled his spot kick wide of Aaron Ramsdale’s right post.

And among the ecstasy of Salah’s miss, some Arsenal fans hailed White’s brutal reaction.

The former Brighton centre-back, 25, could be seen laughing in the background as the Egyptian pulled his shirt over his head in frustration.

Responding to the image, one Arsenal supporter said: “The reaction from Ben White after the Salah’s penalty miss 😂😂🤣.”

Another added: “I just know Ben White laughed in Salah’s ear 😭😭😭😭.”

While one spotted it before the picture even began circling, saying: “I really want to see the picture of Ben White when Salah missed that penalty 😂😂.”

And White’s wasn’t the only reaction which tickled watching Gooners.

Sky Sports viewers were ‘crying’ with laughter after seeing Klopp initially celebrate, thinking Salah had scored.

Despite Salah’s anguish, Liverpool did eventually level things up late on as Roberto Firmino headed home Trent Alexander-Arnold’s cross.

The result means Arsenal sit six points above Manchester City having played one more game.

They also have to go to the Etihad on April 26.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are still 12 points adrift of the top four.
