BBC forced to apologise after Man Utd star shouts ‘I’m so f***ing tired’ LIVE on air as fans call it ‘best thing ever’

THE BBC were forced to apologise after a Manchester United star swore live on air.

But viewers at home branded the X-rated moment the “best thing ever”.

United ace Lucia Garcia spoke to the media following her equaliser in her side’s dramatic 2-1 comeback win in the WSL opener at Aston Villa.

However, in the heat of the moment, the Spanish forward dropped a major F-bomb.

Player-of-the-match Garcia boomed into the microphone: “I’m so f***ing tired.”

She then continued: “It was a tough, tough match, we fought and we must rest for Friday when we have a match so we need to be ready.”

But before the Beeb’s Jo Currie asked her next question, she interjected: “Apologies for any slip of the language there.”

The cameras then cut back to presenter Alex Scott, Fara Williams and Ellen White laughing under their umbrellas pitchside at Villa Park.

Scott added: “First interview live on BBC and that happens.”

However, those watching on could not get enough of the expletive from “legend” Garcia.

One said: “Even after the apology she was still smiling – love it.”

Another wrote: “I can’t stop laughing.”

A third added: “Excellent. Massive vibe.”

A fourth typed: “It came out so naturally, she didn’t even realise she’d said it lol the BBC had to apologise.”

And a final user referenced Mary Earps’ iconic “f*** off” during the Women’s World Cup and commented: “Lucia Garcia saying the F-word on BBC2 is probably my favourite thing since…”

Villa wore their controversial ‘wet’ home kit for the WSL clash and were reduced to ten players when Kirsty Hanson saw red on 74 minutes.

Just two minutes later, though, Rachel Daly fired the hosts ahead before Garcia’s sweet finish on 79 minutes.

Then Rachel Williams headed in a 92nd-minute winner for the Red Devils in dramatic scenes.
