AXEL TUANZEBE will leave Man Utd in the summer as a free agent, SunSport has learned.
The Congo-born defender, 25, is out of contract in July and the club and the player have agreed it would be best for both parties for them to go their separate ways.
Tuanzebe has been with the Red Devils since he was eight, joining them just four years after his family emigrated to the UK for a better life.
He played 37 times for the club, including captaining the side in a League Cup win over Rochdale in 2019.
It saw him become the youngest player to captain the side since Norman Whiteside in 1985, aged 21.
It also meant he capped off a wonderful run of captaining Manchester United at EVERY single age level he’s played at.
