ARSENAL handed the Premier League title to Man City with defeat at Nottingham Forest.
Taiwo Awoniyi scored the only goal of the game as Mikel Arteta’s men lost their second match in a row.
The Gunners needed a win to keep their slim title hopes alive.
City take on Chelsea tomorrow as they line up a historic Treble.
But Pep Guardiola could field a second XI if he likes after Arsenal made City’s job easier than expected.
Who was the Gunners’ best player away from home today? And who had a game to forget?

AARON RAMSDALE – 5
Bad day between the sticks for goalie.
Was not the performance he was looking for after being handed a bumper new deal.

THOMAS PARTEY – 6
Bizarrely moved out of regular midfield position into new right-back role.
Never really got going in battle against Renan Lodi but was solid enough.
BEN WHITE – 5
Second victim of Mikel Arteta’s strange defensive reshuffle.
Looked out of his depth against Forest’s powerful forwards and showed a lack of physicality.
GABRIEL MAGALHAES – 5
Fans claiming Brazilian greatly benefits from playing alongside William Saliba are proving to be right.
Struggled to maintain control of defence and did not look comfortable in one-on-ones with Taiwo Awoniyi.
JAKUB KIWIOR – 4
Preferred on the left to Kieran Tierney despite usually playing through the middle in Arteta’s THIRD back-line change.
Didn’t like coming under pressure from Forest’s high press.
MARTIN ODEGAARD – 6
Captain tried motivating teammates after falling a goal behind.
Passing and movement was okay but rarely threatened on goal.
JORGINHO – 6
Tapped the ball about from deep but lacked killer pass.
Was pinned back by Forest’s midfield and unable to influence things further forward.
GRANIT XHAKA – 5
Uninspired performance from the midfielder.
Will be hoping he can end Arsenal career with a better showing as he prepares for Bayer Leverkusen move.
BUKAYO SAKA – 7
Arsenal’s leading man once again tried leading from the front.
Was unable to hit target but certainly tried giving it a go.
GABRIEL JESUS – 5
Sharpshooter did not look to be at his best level.
But one performance does not define his season, which has been magnificent on balance.
LEANDRO TROSSARD – 6
Not quite up to scratch today after coming in for crocked Gabriel Martinelli.
Should have chance to redeem himself in final game against Wolves.
SUBS
Kieran Tierney (for Kiwior, 63’) – 6
Bizarre decision not to start left-back as he tightened things up at the back.
Eddie Nketiah (for Xhaka, 63’) – 6
Gave Arsenal a bit more cutting edge as they piled on pressure late on.

Fabio Vieira (for Trossard, 70’) – 5
