ARSENAL have been tracking for Moussa Diaby for two years but face competition to land the star, according to reports.
The 23-year-old is enjoying a brilliant season at Bayer Leverkusen and continues to attract interest from across Europe.
But it is Premier League leaders Arsenal who may be most keen to land him given their long-term admiration.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reports the Gunners have “appreciated” the winger for a “long time” and remain keen to recruit him.
They are believed to have been actively scouting him for two years.
Bayer Leverkusen managed to cling onto Diaby last summer and in January but may find that task more difficult this time round.

The Frenchman’s contract does’nt expire until 2025, giving the club some wiggle room, but Arsenal are far from Diaby’s only admirers.
Newcastle and his former side PSG have also been linked to the star and their rich owners mean they can likely reach Leverkusen’s valuation.
Since moving to the German club in 2019, Diaby has gone from strength to strength and developed into an outstanding forward.
He has eight goals and four assists from 22 appearances this season.

And from his 156 games overall for the club, he has an impressive 89 goal contributions.
Despite Diaby’s efforts, Bayer Leverkusen are experiencing an underwhelming season and sit ninth in the Bundesliga.
