ARSENAL fans have thanked “GOAT” Arsene Wenger for the advice he gave Bukayo Saka.
It has been revealed what the legendary Gunners boss told the England star during their first meeting last year.
Wenger and Saka met for the first time after Arsenal’s 3-1 home win over West Ham in December 2022.
Arsenal executive vice-chairman Tim Lewis has now revealed what was said during their meeting.
He told The Telegraph: “It was great to take Arsene down to the dressing room.
“Bukayo (Saka) didn’t know him but he called him ‘boss’ immediately.

“He said, ‘Boss, how can I improve?’ Arsene very dryly said, ‘I think you could use your right foot a bit more’.”
Gunners fans loved the revelation and were quick to react positively on social media.
One supporter tweeted: “He’s actually improved his weak foot this season so much too.”
Another simply added: “GOAT!”

A third fan also wrote: “Wise as usual!”
Meanwhile, one more commented: “What an interaction. He’s certainly taken on the advice.”
Saka, who broke into the first-team after Wenger’s exit, never played under the iconic manager.
Prior to their meeting, he had admitted: “One of my biggest regrets, well not regrets, but something I haven’t been able to do, was to meet Arsene Wenger.”
The 21-year-old went on to score 15 goals and provide 11 assists for Arsenal last season, finishing as their joint top scorer.
His form also earned him a new deal, with Saka extending his contract through until the summer of 2027 back in May.
