The 30-year-old has a knee problem and has undergone surgery to fix it.

However, despite being sidelined, the former Basel ace is still getting his footy fix through his young boy.

And Elneny was “proud” as punch as he shared clips of his son on Instagram.

The first one showed the youngster skipping past a defender before firing home tight-footed from range.

And his dad wrote while sharing the clip: “Another one wow so proud of you.”

But it got even better as he went on to claim his hat-trick by again dancing past two opposition players before rifling home.
