ARSENAL are facing Burnley in the Premier League RIGHT NOW as they aim to bounce back from their loss at Newcastle.
The Gunners can go back level with Manchester City with a win against the Clarets, who lost 2-0 to Crystal Palace last week.

First half facts and figures
Arsenal had 68% possession in the opening 45 minutes, but it’s Burnley who registered the most shots on target with all four of their attempts forcing Raya into saves.

The Clarets are finally undone by two brave pieces of play from Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard.
Zinchenko tosses a hopeful cross into the penalty area, one met by Saka getting up impressively between two defenders.
The England ace heads back across goal where Trossard arrives to nod home despite the immediate threat of James Trafford and the far post.
In fact, the Belgian has taken a heavy blow off the frame of the goal in scoring, and requires treatment while his teammates celebrate.
Either way, Arsenal are in front on the stroke of half-time.

43. Arsenal were beginning to take a real grip of the contest midway through the second half, moving the ball about quicker in the final third and finding pockets of space.
That seems to have stagnated now though with Trossard and Havertz the most guilty of slowing play down in their latest attack.

Once again, Burnley are the architects of their own downfall, giving up possession in their own defensive third, and allow Arsenal to get to work.
On the edge of the box, Trossard uses Martinelli’s run by not using him, and unleashes a shot that stings the Burnley goalkeeper’s hands.

Martinelli tries his luck this time over on the left, but the Brazilian’s cross is comfortably dealt with in the air by the dominant Berge.

Gudmundsson squeezes between Zinchenko and Saliba to race on to Brownhill’s through ball, and strikes low.
It looks destined for the bottom corner right until Raya gets down to his left to push away.

Saka goes near post with his delivery once again, and this time it’s met by Havertz’s wayward header.

26. Trafford again shows off his reflexes with an acrobatic dive to claw Beyer’s header from off his own line.
Not that it would have counted, the referee had already whistle for a foul against Saka, penalised for planting two hands on the back of Koleosho.
Arsenal fans will tell you that’s not always given as a free-kick.

24. Lovely stuff from Zinchenko, who crops up on the right as Arsenal’s fluid football takes hold.
The Ukrainian’s smart trap and backheel releases Saka, whose low cross is intended for Trossard in the centre.
The Belgian’s connection and then the follow-up shot from Havertz are both blocked by the brave defending of O’Shea.

22. Saka is in the thick of the action again, this time going to ground inside the box on the left under the challenge of O’Shea.
It wasn’t the cleanest coming together, but Michael Oliver is in the rice place to say no penalty – and it’s the right decision.
However, it was a quick Arsenal break, sparked by Rice’s fine interception on the edge of his own area.

Amdouni commits the cardinal sin of dithering on the ball in his own penalty area, and Saka steals in to strike first time.
It’s heading for the top corner until the Burnley goalkeeper flies across his line to tip on to the bar and over.

18. In fact, it’s worth remembering that the last time Burnley came here in January 2022, Mikel Arteta’s Gunners were booed after a 0-0 draw off despite recording 20 shots at goal and 76% possession.
