It is understood he would be handed funds in the transfer market as the Italians seek to claim a first scudetto since 2001.

Conte has won four Serie A titles as a manager – three with Juventus and one with Inter Milan.

Both Juve and Inter are also thought to be interested in bringing him back to their clubs, but their financial positions make that an unlikely move.
