LIVERPOOL star Alexis Mac Allister saw his home debut cut short after receiving a straight red card.
The former Brighton man was given his marching orders for going into a 50/50 tackle with Ryan Christie with his studs showing during The Red’s clash with Bournemouth.
The 24-year-old gave referee Thomas Bramall no choice but to reduce Jurgen Klopp’s side down to ten men with the Merseryside club leading 2-1.
Bournemouth midfielder, Christie, was on the edge of his own box when the incident occurred.
The Scotsman came out of the tackle unharmed, but was substituted five minutes later for Justin Kluivert.
Although The Cherries one-man advantage ultimately proved pointless as Diogo Jota added a third goal for Liverpool a mere four minutes after the red card.

Bournemouth had taken the lead just three minutes into the game through Antoine Semenyo, but their happiness was short lived.
Liverpool equalised through a Luis Diaz goal in the 28th minute before claiming the lead as their own just eight minutes later through Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian had missed a penalty, but was able to convert the rebound in order to spare his own blushes.
The game ended 3-1 with Liverpool securing their first win of the season after their 1-1 draw with Chelsea last weekend.

But they will now face three matches without their £55million World Cup winner.
Mac Allister will be restricted to the stands for Liverpool’s fast approaching match-ups against Newcastle, Aston Villa and Wolves.
It’s the Argentine’s first ever red card in his career and will be a lesson going forward.
