FOOTBALL fans have taken to social media to heap praise on Adidas for their Champions League final ball.
The ball debuted last week in the first round of Champions League last 16 matches and will be used at this year’s final in Istanbul, Turkey.
The design features a blue pattern which is inspired by traditional Turkish art with the gold representing the history of Istanbul and the silver the Champions League trophy.
Football fans have been taking to social media in their masses to praise the design.
One Reddit user commented: ” F*** me, that’s a gorgeous ball. I’ll say it.”
Another used replied saying: ” If I had it, I feel like I couldn’t play with it. Just have it for everyone to see.”

A third added: “Now that’s magical.”
A further response said: ” That’s a piece of art for real.”
A couple of eagle eyed Twitter users have commented on how the patterns resemble those on a Wetherspoons plate.
One user said: ” I’ve eaten a burger and chips off this ball at Wetherspoons.”

Fans will have another chance to see the ball in action with the next round of Champions League matches starting on Tuesday.
Liverpool host Real Madrid and Manchester City travel to RB Leipzig.
The ball is available to buy for £50.
