Who is Lance Stroll’s dad Lawrence S Stroll?
Lawrence Strulovitch, who also goes by the name Lawrence S Stroll, was born on July 11, 1959.
Stroll is a billionaire businessman, executive chairman of Aston Martin, and the owner of the Aston Martin F1 Team.
He is also the is the son of Jewish fashion importer, Leo Strulovitch and the dad of Aston Martin racing driver Lance Stroll – one of the youngest members to compete in Formula One.
Lawrence’s family grew up in Montreal, Quebec, where the father introduced brands including Pierre Cardin and Ralph Lauren to Canadians.

How did Lawrence Stroll make his money?
According to wealth website Forbes, Lawrence Stroll made his fortune in fashion.
He masterminded Michael Kors’ hugely successful IPO in 2011 with business partner Silas Chou – a Hong Kong fashion tycoon.
The bulk of Stroll’s fortune comes from selling his shares in the American fashion brand, cashing in on his stake in 2014.

Stroll the later began his F1 dream in 2018, buying into Force One team, renaming it Racing Point Force India, and entering the season at the midway stage.
In 2019, they became the Racing Point F1 Team – with Lawrence enlisting his son, Lance as one of his drivers.
A year later, Stroll led a consortium to invest £182million into Aston Martin for a 16.7 per cent stake in the company.
In 2021, as part of the deal, the Racing Point F1 team was again rebranded as Aston Martin, marking the brand’s return to Formula One after 60 years.

In June 2023, Stroll shared an insight into his F1 venture, claiming the sport has become “the billionaire boys club”.
He said: ”Racing is definitely expensive, from go-karting on up, there’s no doubt about it.
“It’s a lot less expensive to play golf or play tennis but F1 it’s an expensive sport, there’s machinery. There’s a lot of people who run the machines.
“You have to be a very wealthy individual or a very large corporation to be able to afford to be in Formula One.”
Stroll added: “If you look at, for example, building a new building or a new wind tunnel, that’s well over £150million.
“But Formula One is definitely an expensive sport to be in, there’s no question about that.”

Lance Stroll is the son of Lawrence and Belgium-born Claire-Ann Callens.
Lawrence and Claire were previously married, however, have since divorced, with Stroll re-marrying Brazilian-born Raquel Diniz.
