MAX VERSTAPPEN is in hot water with Formula 1 fans after he was involved in a crash during a sim race at the weekend.
The Red Bull driver was taking part in the Golden Toast Grand Prix but was disqualified after deliberately crashing into another driver.
Verstappen started the race in pole position, but was clipped on the first turn by Sven-Ole Haase.
The incident meant Verstappen dropped down the field, leaving him furious and out for revenge.
The reigning world champion took it upon himself to seek vengeance by cutting a corner and slamming at full speed into Haase.
The collision took both cars off course and put a spanner in Haase’s chances of competing in the race.

Whilst another slammed Verstappen’s decision, they wrote: “This is like some 12-year-old behaviour. How is this coming from a world champion F1 driver?”
Another fan seemed to like the Dutch driver’s antics, writing: “Just became even more of a Verstappen fan.”
