But now the former heavyweight world title challenger wants to get to AJ first.

Hughie told Pro Boxing Fans: “I’d absolutely blitz him.

“They’re the fights I want. Joshua honestly wouldn’t stand a chance.

“He’s a complete stiff altogether. There’s nothing about him whatsoever. I think he’s a stiff and it couldn’t be an easier fight.”

Hughie, 28, has been out since October 2021 when he beat Christian Hammer, 35.

But he had to cancel a fight with American Michael Hunter, 34, following a battle with long Covid.

Meanwhile Joshua, 33, is in talks for a December super-fight in Saudi Arabia with Deontay Wilder, 37.

But he could return beforehand on August 12 with Dillian Whyte, 35, sent a contract, which he must sign by TODAY.

It came after AJ took out a rematch clause to try get the deal done with Whyte, who he beat in 2015.

Promoter Eddie Hearn told iFL TV: “[AJ] has said, ‘I don’t care about the rematch clause, I want to fight Dillian Whyte.’ No excuses, there it is, sign it.

“They’ve got the contract. If it’s not signed by Saturday then we go to someone else.”
