The two heavyweight will lock horns this Saturday in Riyadh, which will mark the Gypsy King’s first ever competitive boxing fight in Saudi Arabia.

According to Sport Bible, the MMA superstar is set to earn a staggering £6million for this bout.

That is 10 times more than what the 37-year-old made in his last UFC fight in 2022 before he quit Dana White’s promotion.

The Cameroonian defeated Ciryl Gane and pocketed about £600,000.

However, Fury suggested Ngannou will make more than that after they leave Saudi Arabia.

The British superstar claimed his opponent will leave with an extra $10m (£8.1 m) in his bank account.

Fury’s earnings haven’t been confirmed yet but it is safe to imagine he will pocket even more from the oil rich nation.

The Mancunian made $5m (£4m) as a base purse for his third fight against Deontay Wilder two years ago.

But the two heavyweights had over $25m (£21m) in guaranteed earnings, as per the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

The fight has received criticism from some boxing fans because of the fact Ngannou is not a boxer and may not be able to offer competition to the undefeated Fury.

Plus, the venue has come under fire as Saudi Arabia’s royal family continue to be accused of sportswashing amid their dire human rights record.
