DANIEL DUBOIS will look to cause one of the great heavyweight upsets when he takes on Oleksandr Usyk this weekend.
The Brit, 25, suffered the first professional defeat of his career three years ago when compatriot Joe Joyce earned a 10th round stoppage victory.
Since then, Dubois has put together a four-fight winning streak and obtained the WBA regular title.
But he remains a heavy underdog heading into the clash – which will take place at the Tarczynski Arena in Wroclaw, Poland on Saturday night.
That is because Dubois is coming up against an all-time great in Ukrainian Usyk, 36.
The former cruiserweight king was a decorated amateur, claiming gold at the 2012 Olympic Games.

He then turned pro and won a world title in just his 10th fight.
Usyk went on to become undisputed champion in the 200lb division, before he moved up to heavyweight and dethroned Anthony Joshua.
He defeated AJ again in their rematch last year, with this the first defence of his title since then.
But what are the two fighters’ career earnings heading into this heavyweight dust-up?

What is Oleksandr Usyk’s net worth?
Neither man’s net worth has been officially reported, but Usyk’s career earnings are estimated to be around the £60m mark.
The majority of that came in his last outing – the rematch with Joshua in Saudi Arabia – where he collected in the region of £42m.
He earned £15m from the first AJ fight – which took place in London – and £1.8m for the clash with Derek Chisora in 2020.
His purse for his heavyweight debut against Chaz Witherspoon was about £1m, but before that he had never received a seven-figure sum.
His highly-anticipated clash with Tony Bellew in 2018 saw him earn £750,000.
Before that, all of his purses were under the £400,000 mark.
He is expected to rake in £4.9m for the Dubois clash.
What is Daniel Dubois’ net worth?
Unlike Usyk, Dubois has only cracked the £1m mark for one of his fights so far.
That came in the all-British bout with Joyce in 2020.
As a result, his career earnings are only thought to be in the region of £5m.
He began earning six-figure sums when he took on Richard Lartey in April 2019.
A steady set of purses ranged between £100,000 and £500,000 prior to the Joyce fight – before he earned £1.75m for that blockbuster clash.
In the three years that have followed, he has pulled in a further £1.8m across four fights.
But now he is set to receive another life-changing cheque on Saturday.
