Professional boxer Fury – the brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson – represents a marked step up in competition for KSI.

And in a bid to be ready for the biggest test of his career, he offered his training partners a healthy reward to take his head off his shoulders.

London Shootfighters head coach Alexis Demetriades revealed: “From where he was at when he first came to where he is now, he’s come on leaps and bounds.

“He’s only sparring professional boxers, this whole camp, forget MMA fighters, forget amateurs.

“He’s sparring guys 14-0, 13-0, 12-2, 8-0, 6-0, all with knockouts and all ranked by the British Boxing Board of Control.

“If they think that we’re not taking this seriously, we’ve got guys who are ranked higher than Tommy Fury in the gym.

“And they’re not just moving around, they’re trying to kill JJ and there’s bonus money on the table for them to knock him out.

“From a coaching point of view, all I want to do is put the correct guys in front on KSI and see whether or not he can deal with that and if he can’t then he shouldn’t be fighting.”

KSI – real name Olijade Olatunji – is a huge underdog going into his clash with Tommy.

But he’s adamant he’ll shock the world by winning the fight within four rounds.

He said: “I’m feeling good, feeling confident and feeling ready.

“I’m going to just stand there and fight him, Jake ran away from Tommy’s combinations; I’m not running away, I’m standing in the middle of the ring and I’m fighting him.

“I’ve watched [Fury and Paul’s fight] many times, every angle on slo-mo, every stance, every little bit of detail that I need to know in order to beat Tommy Fury.

“Tommy has got some certain combinations that he likes doing that he’s pretty good at and we’re looking out for that.

“Obviously he’s a big guy that likes to clinch so we’re going to be watching that and we’re going to fight him.

“Just go in there and fight, go crazy, it’s simple. I’m going to test that chin and I’m going to show him that my power is different to Jake Paul.”
