Nate Diaz’s UFC career
Nate Diaz is a longtime UFC fighter who started in Strikeforce and World Extreme Cagefighting before transitioning to the UFC.
He was infamously a part of the UFC’s The Ultimate Fighter, winning the fifth season to clinch a contract with the company.
After signing his contract, he fought 26 times for the promotion, winning 15 bouts.
He fought for the UFC welterweight title in 2012 but lost to former WEC champ Benson Henderson.
Diaz would rebound, though, shockingly submitting Conor McGregor for the Irish star’s first loss.
Now tonight, the 38-year-old will look to get a victory in his debut against a foe 12 years younger than him.
Drake places massive bet on Diaz
Rapper and global superstar Drake has placed a massive bet on Nate Diaz to beat Jake Paul.
He wagered $250,000 on Diaz to win.
The payout would net the rapper $1million.
Drake said: “I can never bet against a Diaz brother.”

Jake Paul will box former UFC star Nate Diaz. This is Paul’s eighth professional boxing match, while Diaz is making his debut.
Diaz is notorious for defeating UFC double champion Conor McGregor in 2016 and is a fan favorite.
Paul claims he’s going to send Diaz back to MMA after he crushes him in the ring.
The main card starts at 8pm ET, with Paul and Diaz expected to take the ring around 11.30pm ET.
