JAKE PAUL has announced he will be making his film debut in a major career change after success in the ring and social media.
The American is one of the most familiar faces on the internet having shot to fame on Vine and later YouTube.
And he capitalised on the boom of celebrity boxing by launching his own promotion and headlined on pay-per-view bills.
But now, Paul is set to star in his first feature film which is to be produced by Mandalay Pictures.
He said: “I’m thrilled to be partnering with Mandalay Pictures and Wonder Street on my first feature film project.
“Both companies have proven track records of producing high-quality content that resonates with audiences, and I couldn’t be more excited to work with such talented and experienced teams.

“As someone who has always believed in pushing boundaries and taking risks, I can’t wait to bring this unique story and my brand to the big screen.
“This is just the beginning of an exciting new chapter in my career.”
Paul, 26, is set to portray a small-town youth rising to international fame through combat sports, drawing parallels to his real life.
It is set to be produced by the makers of Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s AIR and Big George Foreman, starring Forest Whitaker.

Paul was a former cast member of Disney Channel show Bizaardvark, playing Dirk Mann for two series.
As a boxer, he is 6-1 and suffered his first defeat in February to Tommy Fury, 24, losing a split-decision in Saudi Arabia.
He returns on August 5 in Texas against ex-UFC star Nate Diaz, 38.
