‘I can still see a bit’ – Tyson Fury wishes his followers a Merry Christmas but fans distracted by ‘saturated’ tree

BOXING fans have been left disappointed by Tyson Fury’s maximalist approach to Christmas decorating.

The WBC heavyweight champion took to X to wish his followers a merry Christmas, writing: “Wishing You All A Merry Xmas! Blessings To You And Yours. From The Fury’s.”

Fury will fight Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight tile on February 23 next year.

‘The Gypsy King’ wished his followers merriment from next to a blue Christmas tree which had been decked to the nines with cuddly toys as well as baubles.

He was also wearing a Christmas jumper bearing his own face and his trademark phrase: “You big dosser” emblazoned across it.

And fans on X were quick to point out that there was so much decoration that they couldn’t actually see the tree.

“Merry Christmas King.”

A second fan commented: “I think that Christmas tree is little bit over saturated with all the decorations.”

A third fan replied: “Merry Christmas!! That tree looks rad!! I hope that you and your family have a really, really great day, man!!”

A fourth fan commented: “Merry Christmas mate I like the tree very nice picture.”

While a fifth said: “Some tree that is.”

Fury’s Christmas wishes come just days after his training partner Joe Joyce won in Riyadh to upset Deontay Wilder.

He paid tribute to Fury after, saying: “This win is massive because I have my whole team here, apart from Tyson Fury, Tyson thank you for all the help.”
