Cristiano Ronaldo swings a cheeky PUNCH at Tyson Fury as Gypsy King gives his take on CR7 vs Lionel Messi GOAT debate


CRISTIANO RONALDO jokingly swung a punch at Tyson Fury in a brilliant exchange ahead of the heavyweight’s showdown with Francis Ngannou.

Ronaldo, 38, is in Riyadh for the Saudi Arabian crossover bout between world heavyweight champion boxer Fury and former UFC heavyweight king Ngannou on Saturday night.

The pair posed for a photo with a host of other famous faces, with Fury and Ronaldo stood at the back.

And the Manchester United and Real Madrid icon had a boxing glove on for the snap.

Ronaldo took the opportunity to size up Fury – who stood next to him towering above everyone.

And he popped off a playful punch at the WBC champion- which Fury, 35, jokingly pretended had hurt him.

Meanwhile, the two sporting superstars also sat down on a sofa together for a chat.

And Fury weighed in on the debate surrounding who is the best football player of all time.

Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have been locked in a constant battle for 15 years when it comes to trying to eclipse one another as the greatest player in the world.

But Fury believes it is Ronaldo who can claim that accolade.

He said: “Cristiano you are the greatest footballer that has ever lived, and I mean that.

“I am a big fan. I watched you at United the first time, the second time and all your time at Real Madrid.”

Ronaldo won five Ballon d’Ors between 2008 and 2017.

Meanwhile, Messi has seven to his name – the first coming in 2009 and the last in 2021.

He is expected to claim a record-extending eighth Ballon d’Or at the 2023 awards on Monday.
