KSI slammed the result as a “robbery” and claimed he would appeal the decision.

But despite not doing enough to convince the judges he won, the 30-year-old did catch the eye of McGrgeor.

The UFC legend said in a now deleted Tweet: “Ya know what. Me and KSI is an exciting fight.

“A juicy nixer I used to call them back when I was a plumber now I’m on the lambo yacht he’s in a huracan.”

A “nixer” is slang for a side job.

This is not the first time that McGregor has entertained the idea of getting in the ring with KSI.

The Irishman once referred to him as a “friendly little nerd” in an online spat last year.

And he burst into the ring after Anthony Joshua beat Robert Helenius in August to call out the internet sensation.

McGregor said: “I know your man KSI is in the crowd and he couldn’t box eggs if he worked in an egg boxing factory.

“So if he wants to get in here I’ll give him a final yoke, bare-knuckle if you want.”

KSI responded by mocking McGregor, tweeting: “I’ve got Connor on my d*** already.”

Fans are intrigued by the potential clash, one said: “The build-up to that fight would be interesting.”

Another added: “That would be a good fight.”
