ANDY RUIZ JR has suggested he would be up for a trilogy bout with Anthony Joshua.
The pair met for the first time back in June 2019 when the Destroyer landed a surprise knockout win over the Brit to claim the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO belts.
But AJ got revenge later that year as he secured the unanimous decision victory to regain his titles.
Negotiations for a third fight may start amid talks over facing Deontay Wilder not progressing.
There was hope Joshua would meet the Bronze Bomber this year, but a 2024 clash now seems more likely.
AJ is keen to get in the ring again this year and if a deal is not struck, then promoter Eddie Hearn revealed that Filip Hrgovic or a Ruiz Jr trilogy are alternatives.

And the Mexican-American welcomed a third fight, calling out Hearn on social media.
Ruiz Jr tweeted alongside a punching emoji: “Let’s do this Eddie Hearn.”
Meanwhile, AJ’s promoter is continuing discussions with Saudi Arabia over hosting the Wilder bout.
But on the prospect of meeting Hrgovic or Ruiz Jr, Hearn said: “It would need to be a step up, but it would probably take place outside of the UK, he’s just boxed two fights at the O2 [Arena] in four months.

“There’s no guarantee he’ll fight in December and we still wanna make the Wilder fight.
“I’ve already reached out to Saudi Arabia to say, ‘Whoever is moving boxing forward, we have agreed this and we’re ready. If you want to do that, fine. If not, no problem.’”
